A lot of people said she was really mopy and annoying, and she was, but wouldn't you be too? I learned to deal with it. I acually got extremely sucked into the book, more so than I did with Twilight. After I read the first few chapters and Edward left, my head was spinning and I actually felt like I was Bella, except, I wasnt crying or anything.

Yea I was sad when Edward left, well actually first I though, "Oh you are kidding!" and then i thought, "you little punk, i hope you're happy, I hope you throw yourself off a cliff."
Bella was a little mopey, but i didn't blame her, once she got better friends with Jacob, she pulled herself out of it, i just read faster through the mopey parts.

You hate Bella? Oh that's sad... Crying or Very sad I like her. I think that it's jacobs on problem that he is feeling the way he is. It isn't really Bella's fault that she likes someone else more. And it is partly Edwards fault that she likes him, he couldn't stay away from her. I can't read a book is I don't like the main character either, sometimes i think Bella is a little rediculous but I still like her. Very Happy

A lot of people said the hated Bella in New Moon because she was all whiny and moping and anti-social. But if you had just had something like that happen to you, wouldn't you feel that way? Cut her some slack, please. I like her. She is the main chara, so I just get a connection to her since i read so many of her thoughts and her POV.
